Why believe in The God of the Bible?

Why believe him rather then any other god? Because of all the religious world views Christianity offers the most realistic appraisal of human nature. In every other religion there is a belief that you earn Heaven (or nirvana, or a better reincarnation, or whatever) by being good enough. Christianity is the ony religion built on the belief that humans are incapable of being perfect. In Christianity God says to man "believe in me and love me and in return I will give you eternal life." He asks very little really (He doesn't expect perfection because no human can be perfect ) and offers EVERYTHING. At least thatw shy I'm a Christian rather then any other form of theism. As to why I'm theist instead of atheist I don't find the irrational belief that a lack of evidence of God proves he doesn't exist more compelling then the irrational belief that He does.
