they hardly taught the same thing. in fact they completely oppose each other. and you act like they could do back then what we do today... log onto the internet and learn everything about anything. Jesus was engulfed with the scriptures form childhood and He came to say Thy word is truth, talking about what predated buddhism... the dead sea scrolls are manuscripts of the old testament. the truth is like a shell game and your adversary is the one hiding it. ever think demons came and made people subject to the ultimate test? you can't destroy what is true, all you can do is divide it.
