Does a fire marshal inspect the suite or the whole building?/ los angeles?

Starting a business that will require fire marshal inspection. Im wondering if only my suite will be inspected ( Place of the business) or if the whole building will be inspected. Im not so sure the whole building will pass. Is this a matter of being responsible for my clients with extinguishers within 75 ft, exit signs, evacuation plans, smoke detectors and the rest of the building is just that- the rest of the building?
